Notation and roll options

• Notation: Quick-roll dice are d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, and d100. Omit the count for one die, as in d20. Use up to two +-joined groups and an optional signed integer modifier, such as 2d6+1d8-2. A multiplier goes before a group, as in 2*3d6. Keep forms are khN, klN, kN, and lN; for example, 4d6kh3 keeps the highest 3 and 2d20kl1 keeps the lowest 1.
• Controls: Count changes the first group from 1–5 dice. Add die and Second count add or change one optional second group, also from 1–5 dice. Keep changes only the first group and keeps its highest or lowest dice. The +1, -1, +5, and -5 buttons adjust the modifier.
• Rolls: Roll uses the current expression, Reroll rolls it again, and Reset restores the default setup. Press R outside an input to roll. Adv and Dis each roll exactly two d20s, keeping the highest or lowest result.
• Targets and rerolls: Success target counts each face at or above the target, regardless of the modifier or Keep choice. Reroll below rerolls each die below its threshold once; it does not chain.
• Critical marks: Natural d20 faces at or above the success threshold are critical successes; faces at or below the failure threshold are critical failures. The defaults are 20 and 1, and the standalone settings allow whole-number thresholds from 1–20 with failure below success.
• Standalone options: Browser presets are available only here and are saved in this browser, not synced elsewhere. Dice theme changes the dice appearance.
