Accessibility Statement
Last updated: April 17, 2026 · Effective: April 17, 2026
1. Our Commitment
Here I'M Ideas LLC is committed to making PolyQuesting accessible to people with disabilities. We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as defined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
WCAG 2.1 AA addresses a wide range of accessibility concerns, including for people who are blind or have low vision, deaf or hard of hearing, have motor impairments, or have cognitive disabilities.
2. Current Status
PolyQuesting is an actively developed platform. We are committed to meeting WCAG 2.1 AA standards and continuously improving accessibility as we build new features. Our current efforts include:
- Using semantic HTML elements to support screen readers
- Providing sufficient color contrast ratios for text and interactive elements
- Ensuring all interactive elements are keyboard-navigable
- Including descriptive alt text for images and icons
- Supporting browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
- Designing mobile-responsive layouts that work at various viewport sizes and text sizes
- Using ARIA labels where native HTML semantics are insufficient
3. Known Limitations
We acknowledge that some areas of the platform may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Known areas of ongoing work include:
- The 3D physics-based dice roller (/dice) — complex canvas/WebGL content presents inherent accessibility challenges; we are evaluating text-based alternatives
- Some older quiz UI components may need improved focus management and ARIA labeling
- Video content in PolyMeets does not yet include automated captioning
We are actively addressing these limitations. If you encounter an accessibility barrier that prevents you from using any feature, please contact us — we will work with you individually while we address it systematically.
4. Third-Party Content
PolyQuesting uses some third-party services (Stripe for payments, Jitsi for video) that have their own accessibility commitments. We do not control the accessibility of third-party content or interfaces but will advocate with our vendors for improvements.
5. Feedback and Accessibility Requests
Contact our accessibility team:
📧 accessibility@polyquesting.polsia.app
In your message, please describe:
- The specific page or feature you're having difficulty with
- What assistive technology you're using (if any)
- What you were trying to do and what happened instead
We respond within 5 business days. For urgent accessibility needs that prevent you from accessing a core feature, we will prioritize a response and a workaround within 2 business days.
6. Enforcement
If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility concern, you may contact the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division at ada.gov or the relevant state agency in your jurisdiction.
7. Technical Specifications
PolyQuesting is designed to be compatible with the following:
- Modern web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge — latest two major versions)
- Screen readers: NVDA and JAWS on Windows; VoiceOver on macOS and iOS; TalkBack on Android
- Keyboard-only navigation
- Browser zoom up to 200%
- High contrast mode
We test primarily on Chrome with NVDA and Safari with VoiceOver. We welcome reports of compatibility issues with other assistive technologies.
