01Launch summary

PolyQuesting is launching a Virtual Tabletop for polyamorous and ethically non-monogamous communities. Up to 20 players can play tabletop campaigns in one shared browser table, with invite-link lobbies and the PolyQuesting social stack already in the room.

The VTT keeps invites, character sheets, maps, chat, and server-authoritative dice together, so groups can sketch scenes, keep stats and party context close, and roll a shared result without leaving the table.

02Pull quotes

The shared browser table supports up to 20 players.

Invites, character sheets, maps, chat, and server-authoritative dice stay together in the VTT.

The public browse surface shows open seats before a visitor follows an invite.

03One-line blurb

PolyQuesting VTT brings one shared browser table to poly and ENM communities, keeping the party, invites, maps, chat, character sheets, and server-authoritative dice in one place.

Example VTT Invite Lobby URL
https://polyquesting.polsia.app/vtt?room=demo-room&token=demo-invite-token

The invite-lobby URL above is an example format, not a live link — every campaign generates its own room ID and invite token. Real lobbies are produced by a DM sending an invite from inside the VTT; the format is always /vtt?room=<id>&token=<token>. Always share a fresh link from your own campaign rather than re-publishing a stranger's.

08FAQ

Answers to the questions you'll get from your audience in the comments.

What is PolyQuesting?

PolyQuesting is a social platform built for polyamorous and ethically non-monogamous communities. Members take compatibility quizzes, browse people, join PolyMeets events, manage polycule groups, and stay connected through friends and messaging. The newest layer — the VTT (Virtual Tabletop) — is a real-time TTRPG server that runs campaigns with your existing polycule at the table.

Who is PolyQuesting for?

Polyamorous, ENM, kink-friendly, and anyone building connection outside the monogamous default. The LuvLab compatibility quizzes and the VTT are designed around relational structures that aren't a couple — primary partners, metamours, comets, kitchen-table poly, parallel poly, and solo-augmentation all work as first-class concepts.

How is it priced?

Free accounts can take the LuvLab quizzes, browse people, manage a polycule, and create up to 2 active VTT campaigns. Premium opens unlimited campaigns, spectator mode, the homebrew compendium, premium dice colors, and the partner-comparison workflow on the PolyWise quiz — and you can start with a free 7-day trial before any charge.

How is user data handled?

In line with our published Privacy Policy. PolyQuesting does not sell personal data, supports do-not-sell / do-not-share requests, and ships community guidelines covering consent, ghosting, and harassment. The full data-handling posture is documented at /privacy.

What's under the hood of the VTT?

The VTT runs on Node.js + Express with PostgreSQL persistence; real-time play uses Socket.IO with JWT-authenticated sockets, and dice rolling is a server-authoritative engine (se RNG with roll replay, expressions like 2d6+4, keep-high / keep-low) — clients never compute the roll. See /dice for what ships next in the broader TTRPG suite.

How long is a typical VTT session?

Cuts across any length. DMs often run 2–3 hour one-shots for a polycule gathering; longer multi-session campaigns are persistent (character sheets, initiative order, log notes are all saved to the campaign). The encounter turn tracker and live chat are designed to keep momentum whether you're meeting for a single evening or running a six-arc campaign.

Are there community guidelines?

Yes — see /community-guidelines. The VTT itself inherits them: consent-first roleplay, no real-world doxxing or harassment, and DM moderation tools for handling disruptive players are documented there.
